Evolution is a constant, and our wardrobes seem to agree. Since it is all about embracing style, people create an image of you based on your clothing. Society does have a standalone definition about what is stereotypically perfect, but the experimental fashion game is getting bigger and better.
When we speak of experimental fashion in terms of menswear, we tend to relate it to the confidence of a man and how a man can carry off something which isn’t the quintessential classic suit. In the purest sense, confidence is knowing what you’re good at and conveying the same to others. Men can be a little hesitant when it comes to adorning print – heavy garments, since classics are always distinctive and timeless options. Revamping men’s style while sticking to signature minimal aesthetics has always been the key for each of our collections. With SS HOMME SSentric, we take a step ahead to create an air of sartorial summer elegance with new age prints and sharp cuts.
There has been a constant change in the fashion industry and we can see that from the celebrities who never shy away from portraying it to the mass. Sporting trendy ensembles with an optimum level of eccentricity is how stars like Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurana, Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra have mastered our garments and shown the gentleman how to carry himself with confidence. Not limited to prints, but the SSentric sub label designs are created carefully to be in sync with the textures and fabrics used. With subtle elements of quirk in each garment, we do not compromise on the fit and the experience for which we are infamous. The sub – label is truly an amalgamation of minimalistic sensibilities and contemporary fashion.
While focusing on the recent trends, we try to create garments which are exclusive and can be styled and worn in a versatile manner. This year, we have worked with the various interpretations of blocks and incorporated it into our latest SS HOMME SSentric 18-19 collection : SSQUARED. Inspired by the simplicity and distinctive elements of blocks and the tile matching game Tetris designed by Russian game designer Alexey Pajitnov, the collection has a lot to offer to the modern gent in terms of vivid colours, unconventional prints, exquisite fabrics and sharp silhouettes.
Through the collection, we aim to break through the conformities dictated by mass produced designs and create new windows for contemporary fashion for the modern gent. A range of garments conceptualized to create excitement through patterns incorporated and fixed into Indian as well as western wear.
